Connect Fluent Forms and Telegram

Get your Fluent Forms entries where your team reads messages: a Telegram group or chat with your bot. New enquiries post as text, uploaded documents and photos arrive as files, and a paid form can hand the buyer an invite link to a private group on the thank-you screen. FlowMattic runs it all on your own WordPress site.

Fluent Forms and Telegram workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Post each new enquiry to your team's Telegram group

Small teams and solo owners who live in Telegram see the name, contact details and message as soon as the form is sent, and can answer from their phone.

Show a private group invite link after payment

Sell access to a paid Telegram group with a Fluent Forms payment form. Each paid submission gets a fresh invite link, shown on the confirmation screen with Set Custom Response.

Forward uploaded documents to the hiring chat

Job application forms collect CVs as file uploads. The workflow sends each file to the hiring group as a document, with the applicant's name and role in the caption.

Send photos from a damage or repair report

Field teams, landlords and repair shops get the photo a customer uploads, sent as a picture in Telegram, so they can judge the job before calling back.

Send each department's requests to its own group

A Router reads the department chosen on the form. Sales, support and billing each get messages in their own Telegram group instead of one noisy chat.

Alert the owner about big quotes and send the visitor to booking

A Filter keeps entries with a budget above your threshold. The owner gets a Telegram message, and the visitor is redirected to your booking page instead of the usual thank-you.

Set up: enquiries to a Telegram group

At the end, every entry on the form you choose is posted as a message in your Telegram group.

  1. Create a bot

Create a bot with BotFather in Telegram, copy its token and add the bot to the group that should receive entries.

  2. Connect Telegram

Under Connects, add Telegram with the bot token. Fluent Forms runs on the same site and needs no connection.

  3. Pick the form

Create a workflow with Fluent Forms New Form Submission, choose the form and submit a test entry.

  4. Send the message

Add Telegram Send a Text Message, enter the group's chat ID, build the message from the form fields, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Set Custom Response and Redirect to Custom URL act on the entry that started the run, so a Telegram bot message cannot change a form. These workflows start from Fluent Forms.
  • Create Invite Link needs the bot to be an admin of the private group. Without it, the paid form has no link to show.
  • Send a Document and Send Photo take the upload's link from the entry, so the file must be reachable from the internet for Telegram to fetch it.
  • New Payment Submission (Pro) needs Fluent Forms Pro with a payment method, and field names depend on your form, so the mapping is an example.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Fluent Forms and Telegram connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Entries reach a phone people check

Telegram notifications reach owners and field staff who do not sit at a desk, with the details needed to reply.

Paid access without a membership plugin

A payment form plus an invite link step gives buyers entry to a private group, with nothing else to install.

Form data stays on your server

FlowMattic runs on your WordPress site with unlimited runs, so entries go from your database to your bot with no service in between.

Common questions

How do I get Fluent Forms notifications in Telegram?

Create a Telegram bot, add its token under Connects and add the bot to your group. Then build a workflow with New Form Submission and Send a Text Message, using the group's chat ID.

Can I send to my own Telegram chat instead of a group?

Yes. Start a chat with your bot, then use your own chat ID in the Send a Text Message step. Only you will see the entries.

Can each buyer get their own invite link?

Yes. Create Invite Link runs once per paid submission, so each buyer gets a new link. You can then revoke a single link with Revoke Invite Link without affecting the others.

Can file uploads go to Telegram?

Yes. Use Send a Document for PDFs and other files, or Send Photo for images, and pass the upload field from the entry. Add the applicant's name or order number as the caption.

Can Telegram replies update the form entry?

No. Fluent Forms has no actions that change a stored entry. Telegram's bot trigger can start other workflows, but the form side only responds to the visitor who just submitted.
