Customers, drivers and community members often reach you on Telegram while the team works in Slack. With a Telegram bot and FlowMattic, messages sent to the bot are posted in Slack, sorted or translated on the way, and alerts from your other systems can reach the team on Slack and the owner on Telegram at once. It runs on your WordPress site.

Slack and Telegram workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Forward messages sent to your Telegram bot into Slack
Customers write to your business bot on Telegram and the support channel in Slack sees each message with the sender's name, so the team picks it up from there.
Set Webhook / Watch Updates→Send Channel Message
Send urgent bot messages to a person, the rest to a channel
A Router looks for a command such as /urgent. Urgent messages go as a Slack direct message to the manager on duty, everything else goes to the shared channel.
Set Webhook / Watch Updates→Router→Send Direct Message→Send Channel Message
Translate Telegram messages before the team reads them
Communities and suppliers write in many languages. An AI agent translates each message into English and the Slack post shows both the translation and the original.
Set Webhook / Watch Updates→AI Agent→Send Channel Message
Alert the team on Slack and the owner on Telegram
A shop or server alert posts to a FlowMattic webhook. The team sees it in a Slack channel and the owner gets the same alert on their phone through Telegram.
Webhook→Send Channel Message→Send a Text Message
Tell the community team when someone joins the group
A Filter keeps only the bot updates that report a new member, and the community team gets a Slack message with the name, so newcomers get a personal hello.
Set Webhook / Watch Updates→Filter→Send Channel Message
Reply on Telegram that a person will answer
After the message is posted to Slack, the bot sends the customer a short reply saying the team has it, so they are not left wondering whether anyone read it.
Set Webhook / Watch Updates→Send Channel Message→Send a Text Message
At the end, every message sent to your Telegram bot shows up in a Slack channel.
1
Create the bot
Create a Telegram bot with BotFather and copy its token. Add the bot to any group it should listen to.
2
Connect both apps
Under Connects, add Telegram with the bot token and Slack for your workspace.
3
Trigger on bot updates
Create a workflow with Telegram Set Webhook / Watch Updates and send the bot a test message so the update is captured.
4
Post to Slack
Add Slack Send Channel Message, choose the channel, include the sender's name and the message text, test it and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
Slack has no triggers in FlowMattic, so a reply typed in Slack does not reach the Telegram user. Fixed replies can go out from the workflow with Send a Text Message.
In groups, Telegram bots usually only receive commands and mentions. Turn off the bot's privacy mode in BotFather if it should see every message.
Every bot update starts the workflow, including joins and edits. Add a Filter on the update type when you only want new text messages.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Slack and Telegram connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Meet people where they write
Customers keep using Telegram, the team keeps using Slack, and the bot connects the two without anyone switching apps.
Chatty bots, flat cost
Runs are unlimited on your WordPress server, so a bot that handles hundreds of messages a day adds no per-message charge in FlowMattic.
Answers from your own site
The same workflow can look up a WooCommerce order or a booking on your site before it posts, so the team sees context with the message.
Common questions
Can Slack messages be sent to Telegram?
Not as they happen, because Slack has no triggers in FlowMattic. You can post the same alert to both from a Webhook, a Schedule or another app's trigger.
Does this work with Telegram groups and channels?
The bot sees updates in chats it belongs to. Add it to the group, and turn off privacy mode in BotFather if it should read all messages rather than commands and mentions.
Can my team reply to the customer from Slack?
Not directly. Keep the chat ID in the Slack message and reply from the bot in Telegram, or send a standard reply from the workflow with Send a Text Message.
Do I need a separate bot for each Telegram group?
No. One bot can sit in several groups and its updates all start the same workflow. A Router on the chat ID can post each group's messages to its own Slack channel.
