What does the Cognito Forms Slack integration do?
It posts Cognito Forms entries to Slack when they are submitted, edited or deleted. You choose the channel or person and the fields in each message on the FlowMattic builder in WordPress.
Can I post only certain entries?
Yes. Add a Filter after the trigger, for example only entries marked urgent or above a budget, and the rest stay out of Slack.
Can file uploads from the form appear in Slack?
Uploaded files come through with the entry data. Put the file link in the message so the team can open it from the channel, and keep the form's file access settings in mind.
Can the Slack message show what changed in an edited entry?
Update Entry sends the entry as it now stands. Post the fields people care about so the team can compare, or keep a copy elsewhere if you need a full change history.
