Forms often bring in files and requests that belong in Google Drive: CVs, photos, briefs, contracts. FlowMattic takes each Fluent Forms entry on your WordPress site and saves its uploads to Drive, creates and shares client folders, writes documents from the answers and sends buyers the files they paid for.

When Fluent Forms fires New Form Submission, FlowMattic runs Upload a File in Google Drive with the data from that event.

Fluent Forms and Google Drive workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Save each entry's uploaded files to a Drive folder
Job applications, claim photos or artwork arrive in a chosen Drive folder instead of your media library, where the team that needs them can already look.
An onboarding form creates a Drive folder named after the client and shares it with the email they entered, so they have a place to upload documents from day one.
Turn a rough idea into a structured brief in Drive
Someone types a topic or keyword into an ideas form. An AI Agent step writes an outline with questions and keywords, saved as a Drive file for the writer.
New Form Submission→AI Agent→Create File From Text
For lead magnets, Find File locates the guide, Share File with Anyone makes a link, and Set Custom Response puts that link in the form's success message.

Give buyers their own copy of a paid file
After a payment form is paid, Copy File makes a copy of your template or workbook and Share File gives the buyer access by email, so each customer edits their own copy.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
Google Drive's triggers, such as New File in Folder, have nothing to hand on to Fluent Forms: its two actions only shape the reply to the entry that ran the workflow. So every workflow here starts from a Fluent Forms entry or payment.
When a form allows several files, the field holds a list of links. Loop over it with Iterator so each file is uploaded.
Set Custom Response only changes the success message for the entry that ran the workflow, and New Payment Submission (Pro) needs Fluent Forms Pro.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Fluent Forms and Google Drive connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Files go where the team works
Uploads, briefs and client folders end up in Drive, ready to share, instead of in the WordPress uploads folder.
Form and delivery on one site
Fluent Forms and FlowMattic run on your WordPress site, so files pass from your server to Google without a third service.
Every upload included
Runs are unlimited, so a hiring round with hundreds of CVs costs the same as a handful.
Common questions
Can Fluent Forms upload files to Google Drive?
Yes. Add Google Drive Upload a File after the Fluent Forms trigger and map the file upload field. The file is copied into the Drive folder you pick.
Can each submission get its own folder?
Yes. Use Create a Folder or Create a Sub Folder named after the person, then upload their files into it in the same workflow.
Can I save the whole entry as a document?
Yes. Create File From Text can write the answers into a text file in Drive, and Export File to PDF can turn a Google document into a PDF.
Can uploads from different forms go to different folders?
Yes. Point each form's Upload a File step at its own folder, or use Find Folder with a name built from a field such as department to pick the folder for each entry.
