Connect Fluent Support and Notion

Support tickets live in Fluent Support on your WordPress site, while product and documentation work often happens in Notion. FlowMattic links them: tickets become Notion database items, closed tickets become help notes, and status changes in Notion can reply to the customer or tag the ticket. It suits small product teams where support and the roadmap sit side by side.

Fluent Support and Notion workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Turn closed tickets into knowledge entries in Notion

When an agent closes a ticket, an AI Agent writes the problem and the fix as a short help note and saves it to your Notion knowledge database for the next agent.

Track every new ticket as a Notion database item

Product leads see what customers report without a helpdesk login. Each item holds the subject, customer and ticket ID, ready to link to a bug or feature page.

Mark the Notion item resolved when the customer closes the ticket

Find the item by ticket ID and update its status, so the Notion board shows what is still open without anyone editing it by hand.

Add customer follow-ups as comments on the Notion item

When a customer replies with more detail, the reply lands as a comment on the linked item, so the developer working on it reads the new information.

Tell the customer when the linked Notion item is marked shipped

A Filter waits for the status property to change to Shipped, then Reply to Ticket lets the customer know the fix is live, using the ticket ID stored on the item.

Tag tickets whose request was added to the roadmap

When a new roadmap item names a ticket, tag that ticket in Fluent Support, so agents can find every customer waiting on the same feature.

Set up: new tickets as Notion items

At the end, every new Fluent Support ticket appears as an item in your Notion database.

  1. Prepare the database

In Notion, add properties for subject, customer email, ticket ID and status to the database that will hold tickets.

  2. Connect Notion

In FlowMattic, open Connects and add Notion, giving the connection access to that database.

  3. Start with Ticket Created

Create a workflow, choose Fluent Support and Ticket Created, then open a test ticket so its fields are captured.

  4. Create the item

Add Notion with Create Database Item, pick the database, map the ticket fields to the properties, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Store the Fluent Support ticket ID in a Notion property. Find Database Item needs it to update the right item, and Reply to Ticket needs it to answer the right customer.
  • Updated Database Item fires on any edit to an item, so use a Filter on the status property before replying to a customer.
  • Add Tag to Ticket (Pro) and Remove a Tag From Ticket (Pro) need Fluent Support Pro.
  • Notion only lets the connection see pages and databases it has been given access to. If a database is missing from the list, share it with the connection first.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Fluent Support and Notion connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Support and product share one picture

The people fixing problems see real tickets in Notion, and agents get told when the fix ships, without copying links between tools.

Ticket data starts on your site

Fluent Support and FlowMattic both run on your WordPress server, so tickets are read there and only the fields you map go to Notion.

Every ticket, no task count

Runs are unlimited, so logging each ticket and each reply costs nothing extra in a busy release week.

Common questions

Can Notion changes update tickets in Fluent Support?

Yes. Notion's Updated Database Item and New Database Item triggers can start a workflow that runs Reply to Ticket, Add Tag to Ticket (Pro) or Get Specific Ticket in Fluent Support, as long as the item holds the ticket ID.

Can I save the whole conversation, not only the first message?

Yes. Use Agent Replies to a Ticket and Customer Replies to a Ticket to add each reply as a comment on the item with Create Comment on page.

Will deleting a ticket remove it from Notion?

Only if you build that workflow. Start from Ticket Deleted, find the item by ticket ID and update its status to archived, which keeps the history in Notion.

Do I need an AI provider for the knowledge entries?

Yes, the AI Agent step needs a connection to a supported AI provider. Without it you can still save the closing reply to Notion as it is with Create Database Item.
