What can the Slack Monday.com integration send?
Any Monday.com trigger in FlowMattic, such as Item Creation, Status Changes to a Specific Value, Item Moves to a Specific Group or New Update Posted, can post to a Slack channel, a private channel or a DM.
Can I post only one board's changes?
Yes. Add a Filter on the board ID in the captured data, or use a Router to send each board's changes to its own channel.
Can subitems post to Slack too?
Yes. Subitem Created, Any Subitem Column Changes and the other subitem triggers work the same way as item triggers.
Can Slack create Monday.com items?
Not directly, since Slack has no triggers here. You can create items with Create Item from a form, a Webhook or another app, then post a confirmation in Slack.
Can I write the Slack link back on the item?
Yes. Add Create Update after the Slack step to leave an update on the item, or Change Multiple Columns Value to store the channel name in a text column.
